Yes, the current version of the ASEBBO lunch bag is 20% larger than the previous version. The improved stock is available starting with the 1st of March. We enlarged the lunch bag for all available color variations (5 in total). The improved version of the lunch bag includes also a larger middle leather strap and no reaction of the wax when the bag is getting wet. Not only that we kept the same price, but we decided to lower the price, given the fact that many people are financially affected by the Coronavirus.

We have had a few brown bags from our old stock (end of 2019) on Amazon which showed signs of reaction when the bag was getting wet (the wax layer in contact to water could lead to white spots, a problem that could be solved by rewaxing the bag). We took 200% responsibility for this matter. The new stock of the brow lunch bags has arrived at the Amazon warehouse beginning of March 2020 and every bag has this issue resolved. Also, as a form of respect and appreciation for our clients, we have made several improvements for this new version of the waxed canvas lunch bag: we increased the volume of the bag by 20% and the middle strap is longer in order to smoothly secure the bag.

It depends a lot on the dimension of the meal prep containers. The exterior dimensions of the improved version of our bag when not unfolded are 18" (height), 8.8" (length), 7" (width). Our lunch bag stays pretty clean because it is waxed. If dirty, always wash the bag manually and do NOT use the washing machine. Please use cold water and dishwashing soap to spot clean. Smoothly run a gentle rinse cycle with cold water and gentle soap, then let it dry.

If you are considering ice packs, yes, definitely, you can put them inside and they will be kept cold 5-6 hours due to the 3 layers: waxed canvas (exterior), foam (middle), aluminum foil (inside). We have tested both ways (for cold and warm food). The average time will be 3-4 hours for the food to remain at a very close temperature level to the initial one. In order to achieve this result, we made the superior part of the bag from a double waxed canvas layer, so when folded, the insulated high-quality aluminum film from inside is covered with 4 layers of waxed canvas, which is an extra measure for keeping the food at a constant temperature.

You can rewax the lunch bag in order to obtain a fresh look. You don't have to though, keep in mind though that by rewaxing the lunch bag you will be able to use it long term. Also if the exterior material is getting in contact with chemical substances that will lead to discoloring and spots (in the rare events when the wax layer will be dissolved), you can definitely rewax the lunch bag in order to cover those spots and gain a uniform color of the exterior waxed canvas layer. There are some important points to follow when taking care of your ASEBBO waxed canvas lunch bag:

1. When your ASEBBO lunch bag gets in contact with water, wipe it with a dry cloth and simply let the bag dry.

2. When your ASEBBO lunch bag for ladies gets in contact with different liquids other than water, we recommend that you first manually wash the bag with cold water and soap, by gently rubbing in circles the corresponding spots.
